Peter Moore - President
Peter Moore is the co-founder and current Business Director of Breitenbush Hot Springs Retreat & Conference Center. He is also co-founder and president of the board of the non-profit Breitenbush Eco Fund whose principal project is the Holistic Centers Network.
“I believe there is an evolutionary impulse occurring in human populations across our world, regardless of economic, political or cultural background. This impulse is holistic in nature and trends toward sustainability. As imperfect as our species is, we are evolving, and the evolutionary trajectory is towards ethical, principle-based consciousness.
Holistic centers are places where people come to reframe their life experience in a new lens, creating a refreshed perspective. From this “retreat”, they can “advance” back into their known world using the insights and tools gained during their time at the holistic center. Thousands of holistic centers are influencing millions of peoples’ lives.”
Ralph White - Founder of the Holistic Centers Gathering
Ralph White is the co-founder of the New York Open Center, the city’s leading venue for holistic learning for the last 33 years. He currently directs the Art of Dying and Esoteric Quest conferences. He is the author of the memoir, The Jeweled Highway: On the Quest for a Life of Meaning, and edited Lapis Magazine for six years. He is a world traveler, speaker, writer, sometime radio host, and organizer of multiple events to do with consciousness, spirituality, ecology and social change over the last four decades. He was present at the first Gathering of Holistic Centers over thirty years ago and has attended them faithfully ever since. He lives in New York City.
Leslie Hoffman
Leslie Hoffman is an innovative and visionary leader in cultural programming with more than 20 years experience in both the entertainment industry and non-profit sector. A creative, big-picture thinker who has the ability to identify emerging social trends and business opportunities while maintaining a strategic focus to maximize success. Depth of experience in fundraising and philanthropy, creative concept development that includes marketing strategies, budget management through to event leadership. Award-winning community member who works tirelessly to advance causes and make a difference in local and national communities.
Werner Brandt - Secretary/Treasurer
Werner is an explorer of wild places. He has a hearty appetite for anything that nourishes the soul. He bridges 35+ years experience in computer technology to serve organizations that align with his view of creating a better world for the future beings of Gaia. He has facilitated the Work That Reconnects with Joanna Macy and trained with Bill Plotkin of the Animas Valley Institute. Currently he is a practitioner of Qigong. He is married to a poet, Abigail and blessed with 5 children and 6 grandchildren. With over twenty years of daily meditation, he still feels like a beginner.
